Scientific Observational Love
February 10, 2014
The substantial, transitive speed of time,
Quantifying the motion of my thoughts sublime.
Relative motion approaching light speed,
Is a fraction of time in which my mind conceives
Of a heart chemically induced to contract itself faster,
Sending blood to exchange O2 with tissue flowing past her.
Pupils dilate when photons signal the change,
In the way her eyes perceive my tonal vibration within range.
Two bodies in motion hurdling through space-time
Feel momentarily still as if a one dimensional line.
As infinite energy is required for light speed,
So I felt when we touched our orifices which feed.
If the science is any indication of our future endeavors,
I hope chemicals flow between us forever and ever.
